Red Devils are thriving, thanks to generous financial gifts to the McAndrews Fund for Athletics. The McAndrews Fund enables each of Dickinson's 25 athletics programs to recruit and develop premier student-athletes, invest in state-of-the-art facilities, travel nationally and internationally for training and community service projects, purchase essential equipment and technology, and hire and cultivate top coaches.
As individuals and teammates, Red Devils are making remarkable strides—achieving successes in the Centennial Conference, serving the campus and Carlisle community, and becoming leaders in life beyond Dickinson.
The Pugs Foundation, started in memory of Gary “Pugs” Knechtel ’80, is generously offering to match all gifts up to $25,000 to the McAndrews Fund.
The McAndrews Fund for Athletics—with gifts from alumni, parents and friends of the college—helps our student-athletes excel in their sport and in the classroom. When you make a gift to the McAndrews Fund, you give today's Red Devils opportunities that would not be available without your support.
As we have navigated a challenging year that was reliant on our Red Devil Athletics Department coming together, we want to lift our unrestricted McAndrews Fund which supports all of our student-athletes, all year around. Below are just a few examples of what our unrestricted McAndrews gifts go towards.

Gifts to the McAndrews Fund for Athletics support the intercollegiate experiences of current Dickinson student-athletes by enhancing opportunities for instruction and competition, creating increased opportunities for student recruitment and visibility locally and nationally, enabling teams to travel for training, funding essential equipment and software, helping the college hire top coaches and much more.
